Convent Aileron, Order of the Valorous Heart

The Infernal Hand has a bitter and storied rivalry with the Sororitas of Convent Aileron, having stolen sacred relics and disrupted warp rituals of the other across many a battlefield. Many members of the Host hold personal grudges against specific Sisters:

• Charlaine Davril

  

  Coryphaus Erra the Spiteful lives up to his eponym in his relentless pursuit of Palatine Charlaine Davril, the only mortal to have ever gone toe-to-toe with him and lived. The two have fought to near-death multiple times and are equals in single combat. He holds a sort of twisted respect for her for this capability, yet he would move the galaxy itself if it meant but one more chance to mount her head on his trophy rack. Lately, he has been attempting more... underhanded methods to enact his revenge.

• Adélaïde la Valeureuse

  Canoness Adélaïde la Valeureuse has a deep loathing for Master of Possession Enki Ashurr, though the latter doesn't even know her name. She finds Enki particularly egregious for his use of psykic abilities and summoning of Warp Spawn, but also his attempt at possessing Palatine Charlaine with a daemon of Nurgle. Still, she is at least somewhat grateful to him; his corruption of former Dialogus Édith Brienne has exposed the traitor's wicked, lecherous heart. As such, the Canoness has been able to burn all possible taint of the Archenemy out of her Convent, making Repentia of any who listened to the Dialogus's teachings and having her entire family publicly executed.

Édelweiss Papifonier


• Aspiring Champion Shara Emah duels frequently with Zephyrim Superior Édelweiss Papifonier (dit Papillionier). Édelweiss, from one of the most ancient and storied houses in the Bourgonne System, holds many titles and only engages in the most honorable duels. Shara, for his part, believes wholeheartedly in the mission of spreading the Primordial Truth through the old ways of the Legion and equally prefers single combat to prove his ideals are the correct way. The two follow a custom that appears at times like the ways of Old Terra, Édelweiss fighting to recover La Jouvencelle, the corrupted blade of her ancestor, Sainte Éloïse, that Shara wields, and Shara fighting to make Édelweiss consider the truths he tries to mercifully bless her with.
